Mr. Wilkinson introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to refund to the Poco-
moke Bridge Company, a corporation chartered under
the laws of the State of Maryland, the main office of
said company being in Pocomoke city, Worcester
courty, the sum of one hundred and sixty one dollars
and live cents, taxes paid in error into the State
Treasury.
Also, introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Robert J.
Hung, of Worcester county, the sum of seventeen
dollars and sixty-seven cents, taxes paid in error into
the State Treasury.
Which were severally read a first time, and referred
to the Committee on Claims.
Mr. Joyce introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 93, of
Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Revenue and Taxes," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Green introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate annually
a sum of money for the support of Marion Academy,
in Somerset county.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on AVays and Means.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and amend sec-
tion 49, of Article 25, of the Code of Public General
Laws of the State of Maryland, sub-title "Draining
Land."
