On motion of Mr. Frincke,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the
Governor to appoint three additional Notaiies Public
for Baltimore city:
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Governor, by and with the ad-
vice and consent of the Senate, is hereby authorized
to appoint three Notaries Public in addition to those
now appointed.
Sec. 2. And be enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage,
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 653 F and section 653 J, of Article 4, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-
title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks. '
On motion of Mr. Gallagher,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Comptroller and Treasurer of the State to audit
the claims of Oscar Buckle and others, for money
erroneously paid to the State of Maryland.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to secure the
benefits of care and medical and surgical treatment to
indigent pe. sons of this State and to appropriate a
sum of money therefor.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 10 B, of Article 55, of the Code of Public General
Laws, and re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Godwin,
Leave was granted to the Queen Anne's County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act repealing
and re-enacting with amendments section 118, of
Article 18, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Queen Anne's County," sub-title "Church
Hill."
