to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and amend
section 49, of Article 25. of the Codej of Public General
Laws of the State of Maryland, sub-title "Draining

On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to establish
a Board of Gas and Electric Light Commissioners.
On motion of Mr. Wilkinson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to the Poco-
moke Bridge Company, a corporation chartered under
the laws of the State of Maryland, the main office of
said company being in Pocomoke city, Worcester
county, the sum of one hundred and sixty-one dollars
and eighty-five cents, taxes paid in error into the State
Treasury.

Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to Robert J.
Henry, of Worcester county, the sum of seventeen dol-
lars and sixty-seven cents, taxes paid in error into
the State Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Sappington,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section two, of chapter 332, of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, of
1890, entitled an Act to regulate the measurement of
peas, beans and other farm products.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to pro-
hibit riding and driving in an immoderate speed or
gait over the bridges in Anne Arundel county.
On motion of Mr Moore,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to William
S. Gordy, late collector of taxes for Wicomico county,
a certain sum of money erroneously paid by him into
the Treasury.
