House bill entitled an Act to provide for the gen-
eral valuation and assessment of property in this State.
Mr. Wilkinson moved that further consideration be
postponed, and the bill be made the Order of the Day
for Wednesday, March 9th, 12.30, and continuously
thereafter at the same hour until its second reading
is completed.
REPORTS OF SELECT COMMITTEES.
Mr. McSherry, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to protect trout in the
streams of Frederick county, and to repeal and re-
enact with amendments chapter 42 of the Acts of
Assembly of 1890.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Council
of Brunswick, Frederick county, to issue improve-
ment bonds to an amount not exceeding the sum of
$20,000.
Mr. Brashears reported favorably, from a Select
Committee,
House bill entitled an Act to change the name of
the "Loan and Security Company of Anne Arundel
County," and to declare and enlarge the powers of
such corporation.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 254 and
255, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne
Arundel County," sub-title "Wild Fowl," and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 115, of
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "County Commis-
sioners," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
and to add a new section to said Article to follow sec-
tion 123, to be designated as "Section 123 A."
