Mr. Carter, from the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 45, of the Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, title "Husband and Wife."
Which was read a first time.
Also, reported back to the House.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 88 A, of Article 81, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Revenue and
Taxes," sub-title "Payment of Taxes by Corporations,"
providing for the payment of a bonus on its capital
stock for the use of he State, as enacted by chapter
536, of the Acts of 1890, to come in after section 88 E,
and to be designated as section 88 F.
With recommendation that said bill be referred to
the Committee on Ways and Means.

Also, reported back,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 16, of Article 84, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Land Office," re-
lating to the indexing of certain land records and
extracts of deeds.
With suggestion that said bill be referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
