Mr. Miles introduced,
House Mil entitled an Act to give the residents of
Dorchester and Talbot count-es, who may be charged
with the violation of any of the provisions of the Acts,
the right to be tried before a Justice of the Peace or
the Circuit Court of the county in which the offender
resides.
Which was read a first time and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Brashears introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to pay the claim of Lemuel J. Mitchell for ser-
vices rendered the State of Maryland.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Claims.
Mr. Wallen introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to protect and make sure
laborers' wages.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Commtttee on Labor.
Mr. Walz introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to regulate the carrying
of passengers and for the safety and protection of the
same.
Mr. Carr introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to pay Charles Simon,
Jr., and Adolph Simon, executors of the late Johanna
M. Simon, late of Baltimore city, deceased, taxes paid
in error.
Mr. Joyce introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum
of $200 to pay the claim of John Boessel.
Also, introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum
of $200 to pay the claim of John C. Boessel.
