House bill entitled an Act to add ad'ditional sec-
tions to Article 56, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Licenses," sub-title "Penalties," to be
designated as "Sections 89 B and 89 C," relating to
obtaining liquors by minors and giving liquors to
minors.
Which were severally read a first time, and re-
ferred to the Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Franklin introduced,
Ho;uise bill entitled an Act to refund to Wm. M.
Davis, administrator of Peter L. Davis, late of Wor-
cester county, deceased, the sum of $53.28 taxes, paid
in error into the State Treasury.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Claims.
Mr. Orrick introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
section 9, of Article 83 of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to revenue and taxes.
Which was read , first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Fockler introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to refund to Philip Funk,
of Washington county, Md., the sum of $20.83, erro-
neously paid into the State Treasury.
Which was read a first time and referred to the
Committee on Claims.
Mr. Brashears introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 247, of
Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Sabbath Break-
ing," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary,
ORDER OF THE DAY.
The hour of 12.30 having arrived, the House con-
sidered the Order of the Day, being
House bill (Printed No. 87) known as the weekly
pay bill.
