On motion of Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to the Worcester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit
the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer in School District No. 5, of Election District
No. 9, of Worcester county.
On motion of Mr. Hutchins,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to re-
peal and re-enact with amendments section 79, of
Article 2, of the Code of Public Local Laws, tile
"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Birds, Game and
Foxes."
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to protect
the trout in the streams of Frederick county, and to
repeal and re-enact with amendments chapter 42 of
the Acts of 1890.
On motion of Mr. Barber,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 247, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Sabbath
Breaking," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. Sams introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to establish and promote
the industry of oyster culture in Eastern Bay and its
tributaries.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. McSherry introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to sanction the bequest
contained in the last will and testament tof Mary A.
Dodge, late of Baltimore city, to the Trustees of
Dodge Chapel, in Mechanicstown, Frederick county,
Maryland, and to the Trustees of the Church of the
United Brethren.
