On motion of Mr. Fockler,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to Philip
Funk, of Washington county, Maryland, the sum of
$20.88 erroneously paid into the State Treasury.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to sanction
the bequests contained in the last will and testament
of Mary A. Dodge.
On motion of Mr. Franklin,
Leave was granted to the Worcester County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to
Willian Green Davis, administrator of Peter L.
Davis, late of Worcester county, deceased, the sum
of fifty-three ($53.28) dollars and twenty-eight cents,
taxes paid in error into the State Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Orrick,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpor-
ations to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
and re-enact section 9, of Article 83, of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to revenue and taxes.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpor-
ations to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add ad-
ditional sections to Article 56, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Licenses," sub-title "Penalties,"
to be designated as section 89 B and 89 C, relating to
obtaining liquors by minors, and giving liquors to
minors.
On motion of Mr. Maddox,
Leave was granted to the Charles County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 3, of Article 9, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Charles County," sub-title "Almshouse,"
and re-enact the same with amendments, to regulate
the appointment of Trustees of the Poor in said
county.
On motion of Mr. Carrico,
Leave was granted to the Charles County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate
the number, term and compensation of the County
Commissioners of Charles countv.
