PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. McSherry presented a petition from Wm. G.
Baker and 478 other citizens of Frederick county,
graying for the passage of an Act preventing the sale
of liquor on the grounds of the Frederick County
Agricultural Society.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Temperance.
Mr. Stearns presented a petition from John W. Gul-
breath, asking a pension be granted to Adelia A.
Crawley, a blind and helpless resident of Harford
county.
Which was read, and referred to the Harford
County Delegation.
