On motion of Mr. Hill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 244, of Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"River," and to re enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Sappington, of Frederick,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit
drunkenness and disorderly conduct in Liberty Dis-
trict, Frederick county.
On motion of Mr. Leeds,
Leave was granted to the Carroll County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to ratify, confirm
and make valid the acts and proceedings of the Di-
rectors of the Union Bridge Water Company, in Car-
roll county, Maryland, in borrowing money to fully
complete the water-works of said company.

ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal sec-
tion 312, of Article 93, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Testamentary Law," subtitle "Wills."
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to appropriate a sum
of money annually for the relief of the Simmons
Home for Friendless Children of Baltimore.
