Mr. Elliott presented a petition from citizens of
Parkton, asking for the passage of a law prohibiting
the sale of liquor at Parkton, Baltimore county.
Which was read, and referred to the Baltimore
County Delegation.
Mr. Sappington, of Frederick, presented a petition
from H. C. Trundle and 27 other citizens of Liberty
District, Frederick county, praying for the passage of
an Act to prevent drinking and disorderly conduct in
said district.
Which was read, and referred to the Frederick
County Delegation.
Mr. Grove, of Cecil, presented a petition from Wm.
T. Miller and 37 other citizens of Cecil county, asking
an amendment to the present fence law in said county.
Which was read, and referred to the Cecil County
Delegation.
Mr. Combs presented a petition from Wm. J.
Ingram and 184 other citizens of St. Mary's county,
praying the passage of an Act to prohibit the taking
of oysters in the months of September and April.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee oa
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Mr. Leeds presented a memorial from the Unioi.
Bridge Water Company and other citizens of Carroll
county, asking the passage of an Act legalizing, con-
firming and making valid the acts and proceedings of
said company in borrowing money to complete the
works of said company.
