On motion of Mr. Laird,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the town of Laytonsville, in Montgomery county.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Montgomery County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the "Commissioners of Brookville," in Montgomery
county, to incur a debt for the purpose of paving the
sidewalks of said town.
On motion of Mr. Haines,
Leave was granted to the Carroll County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Mayor and Common Council of the city of West-
minster to issue its bonds or certificates of indebted-
ness to an amount not exceeding fifteen thousand dol-
lars, for the purpose of providing means for the grad-
ing, paving or macadamizing the streets in the city of
Westminster, and construction of sewers.
On motion of Mr. Smith,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill to authorize and empower
the Board of Public Works to build and equip three
new sailing vessels for the State Fishery Force.
On motion of Mr. Ellegood,
Leave was granted to the Wicomico County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal*
chapter 224, of the Acts of 1890, entitled an Act to
repeal sections 61, 69 and74, of 'rticle 23, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Wicomico
County," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating
Drinks," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
and also to repeal section 70, of Article 23, of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "Wicom-
ico County," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating
Brinks," so far as the same applies to Sharptown.
Election District, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
