On motion of Mr. Young, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Stottlemeyer be excused on to-
day's session, on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Joyce, it was
Ordered, That the Committee on Corporations be
excused from attendance for three-quarters of an hour
upon to-day's session.
On motion of Mr. Grove, it was
Ordered, That the usual number of copies be printed
of House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 55 to
89, inclusive, of Article 56 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Frederick County," sub-title "Spirituous
and Fermented Liquors."

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Hill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an ad-
ditional section to Article 27, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Crimes," sub title "Jurisdiction,
Procedure and Sentence," said section to regulate the
fixing of bail in criminal cases and to come in after
section 290 of said Article, and to be known as "Sec-
tion 290 A."
On motion of Mr. Cornthwaite,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum
of money to pay the claim of Eugene E. Graunau,
agent of the State of Maryland, appointed under
authority of law to serve a requisition upon the Gov-
ernor of Ohio, in the case of State of Maryland vs.
John Yeakle.
On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to extend the time
during which passenger cars may be heated with
stoves.
On motion of Mr. Ellegood,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add a sec-
tion to Article 21, title "Conveyancing," of the Code
of Public General Laws, to be numbered "88."
