On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to change
the name of the "Loan and Security Company of Anne
Arundel county," and to declare and enlarge the
powers of such corporation.
On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill authorizing the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore city to acquire a majority of the
capital stock of the Baltimore and Eastern Shore Rail-
road Company.
On motion of Mr. Anderson,
Leave was granted to the Somerset County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill to repeal a certain section of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Somerset county,
entitled an Act to protect oysters in certain waters of
the Manokin River, and re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
On motion of Mr. Beeks,
Leave was granted to the Cecil County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re en-
act with amendments section 38, of Article 8, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil
County," sub-title "Birds and Game."
On motion of Mr, Fuld,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
743, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police," and to
re-enact the same with amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to secure the
benefits of medical treatment and of instruction to
deserving persons of this State.
On motion of Mr. Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the char-
ter of the Woodberry Manufacturing Company.
