LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Fuld,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and
re-enact with amendments section 16, of Article 54, of
the Code of Public General Laws, title "Land Office,"
relating to the indexing of certain Land Records and
extracts of deeds.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add a sub-
section to section 35, of Article 26, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Courts," sub-title "Court
of Appeals," so as to authorize the appointment of a
Messenger to the Court of Appeals.
On motion of Mr. Cornthwaite,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to appro-
priate a sum of money to pay George R. Carter the
amount of money erroneously or unjustly paid by
aim for outage on tobacco.
On motion of Mr. Laird,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Library to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 13,
of Article 55, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "State Librarian," and to re-enact the same with
amendments, and to add two additional sections to
said Article, to be numbered 14 and 15.
On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to promote,
encourage and foster agriculture in this State, and to
appropriate a sum of money therefor.
On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesa-
peake Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill en
titled an Act to add an additional section to Article
72, of the Code of Public General Laws of this State,
entitled "Oysters," to be known as sections 41, 41 A,
41 B, 41 E, 41 G, 41 H and 41 I.
