Somerset county, asking an annual appropriation of
$800 for Marian Academy.

Somerset county, asking for the construction of a
better line to distinguish Monokin river from Piney
Island Swash.

County Delegation.
Mr. Brashears presented a memorial from the colored
people of Anne Arundel county, asking for an appro-
priation to establish a normal school in the city of
Annapolis.

Ways and Means.
Mr. Ellegood presented a petition from citizens of
Barren Creek District of Wicomico county, against
any change in the fence law.
Which was read, and referred to the Wicomico

Mr. Frincke presented a petition from the Superin-
tendent of Public Schools of Baltimore city, and
teachers, praying the passage of the bill to increase
the license for sale of paper-wrapped cigarettes in
Maryland.

Mr. Anderson presented a petition of T. E. James
and 79 other citizens of Somerset county, against any
change in the fence law for Rock Creek District in
said county.
Which was read and referred to the Somerset County
Delegation.
Mr. Hamilton presented five petitions from numer-
ous farmers of Baltimore county, asking a repeal of
hay hucksters license of Baltimore city.
