REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Joyce, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,
House bill entitled a further supplement to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltimore Equita-
ble Society for insuring houses from loss by fire,
being chapter 39 of the Acts of 1874.
Also, favorably, from same Committee,
House bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
entitled an Act to incorporate the Sisters of Charity
of St. Joseph's, in Frederick county.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to amend section 3, of
chapter 485, of the Acts of 1882, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
Mr. Field, from the Committee on Militia, reported
favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to amend section 27, of
Article 65, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Militia."
Mr. Fitzgerald, from the Committee on Elections,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact
with amendments section 85, of Article 33, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Elections."
Which were severally read a first time.
Mr. McSherry, from the Committee on Printing,
reported favorably, with proposed amendment, the
following order referred to said committee on Feb-
ruary 5th, viz:
Ordered, That there be printed of the report of
the Maryland Agricultural College and Experiment
Station, 8,000 copies, and of the portion relating to the
Experiment Station, 6,000 copies additional, bound
separately in paper; that these reports be delivered to
the president of the said college, and that ten (10)
copies of the entire report and fifty (50) copies of the
Experiment Station report, be sent to the State
Librarian, and the president of said college shall dis-
tribute ten (10) copies of the college report, and fifty
(50) copies of the Experiment Station Report, as may
be directed by each member of this House and of the
