Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :
We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable
Body, that inasmuch as Monday next is the anniver-
sary of the birthday of Washington, and a legal holi-
day, that when the two Houses adjourn to-day, they
stand adjourned until Tuesday next, at 8 o'clock,
P. M.

Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :
We have received your message, proposing that
when the two Houses of the General Assembly adjourn
to-day, they stand adjourned until Tuesday next at
12 M. We have adopted and sent to your Honorable
Body a similar message, proposing that the adjourn-
ment of the two Houses to-day shall continue until 8
P. M. Tuesday next, and we respectfully request your
assent to an adjournment to that date and time.
