Your committee beg leave to report that they have
made an estimate of the cost of printing the report of
the Maryland Agricultural College and Experiment
Station, and find that to print the number of copies as
required in the annexed order, as amended, will cost
$2,054, subject to increase or reduction, as the number
of printed pages may exceed or fall below the follow-
ing estimate :
Estimate of the Report of the Agricultural College and
Experiment Station, combined Report 244 pages.
Experiment Station, printing alone, - - - $200
The cost of the first 1,000 copies of 244 pages,
at $1 50, ----------- 366
The cost of the second 1,000 copies, at -$1.00
per 1,000, will be -------- 244
The cost of the third 1,000 copies, at $1.00 per
1,000, will be ---------- 244
The cost of 6,000 copies of the report of the
Experiment Station, 2,000 pages, at $1.00
per 1,000 pages, ....... 1,200

AMENDMENT PROPOSED TO ORDER.
In line 4 strike out "7,000 copies" and Insert "6,000
copies."
Mr. Wilkinson moved to postpone further considera-
tion of Jsaid report, together with proposed amendment,
and make the same the order of the day for Wed-
nesday, February 24th, at 1 P. M.
Mr. Carter demanded the yeas and nays.
