Mr. Orrick introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to declare the sanction
and consent of the General Assembly of Maryland to
the holding of a certain lot of ground by the English
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Reisterstown.
Mr. Sanders introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to give and grant the
sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
holding and disposing by the South Baltimore Free
Methodist Society of Baltimore city, of a certain
leasehold lot of ground on William street, in said
city.
Mr. Laird introduced.
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 205, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Chancery," sub-
title "Trustee."
Mr. Carr introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, section 12, of Article 56, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Licenses," sub-
title "Brokers," relating to stock brokers.
Which were severally read a first time, and referred
to the Committee on the Judiciary.

Mr. Laird submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

Gentlemen of the Senate:
Inasmuch as Monday next is the anniversary of the
birthday of Washington, and a legal holiday, we pro-
pose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
that when the two Houses adjourn to-day, they stand
adjourned until Tuesday next, at twelve o'clock, meri-
dian.
