On motion of Mr. Biggs,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with an amendment section 171, of Article 93,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Testa-
mentary Law," sub-title "Guardian and Ward,'' as
repealed and re-enacted by the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1890, chapter 211.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an
additional section to chapter 334, of the Acts of 1890,
entitled "An Act to regulate the sale and granting of
licenses for the sale of spirituous and fermented
liquors in Baltimore county," to follow section 9, and
to be designated as "Section 9 A."
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act for the prevention
of fraud on the part of endowment and other similar
institutions.

Gentlemen of the Senate:
We propose with the concurrence of your Honorable
Body, the appointment of a Joint Special Committee,
to be known as the "Committee on County Commis-
sioners," and composed of three members on the part
of the Senate and five members on the part of the
House of Delegates, to which shall be referred all bills
and leaves to introduce bills relating to the terms,
powers, duties, etc. of County Commissioners,
