LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Amend-
ments to the Constitution to introduce a bill entitled
an Act to add an additional section to Article four, of
the Constitution of the State.
On motion of Mr. Orrick,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give the
sanction of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
grant of certain lands and improvements by William
Keyser and Mary B. Keyser, his wife, to the Yestry of
Reisterstown Parish, in Baltimore county, a body cor-
porate.
On motion of Mr. Collins,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to James
Nichols certain money for State taxes erroneously paid
into the State Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Canby,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to William
A. Lyon, collector of taxes in the 7th Election Dis-
trict of St. Mary's county, a sum of money erroneously
paid by him into the Treasury of the State.
On motion of Mr. Brashears
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to protect
members of beneficiary and aid societies, associations
or corporations.
