assent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
sale and grant of Nicholas M. Smith, to the trustees,
of the Auste Sphard Hebrew Congregation of Balti-
more city, of certain lots in Baltimore city.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give the
assent of the General Assembly of Maryland to the
Vestry of St. Stephen's Church of Baltimore, to the
Trustees of the Emanah Hebrew Congregation of Bal-
timore city, of property in the city of Baltimore.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Trustees of the McDonough School.
On motion of Mr. Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments, sections 8 and 11, of Article
23, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Cor-
porations."
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Treasurer of the State of Maryland to pay to
Peter Fehler, a sum of money paid by him to the
Clerk of the Criminal Court of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Public
Hygiene to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prevent
the importation and sale of diseased or maimed animals
and unwholesome articles of food, and to provide for
the inspection thereof.
On motion of Mr. Bryan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session, 1890, entitled an Act to amend Arti-
cle 52, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Justices of the Peace," (except as to the city of Bal-
timore,) by adding a new section thereto to follow
section 11, and to be designated as "Section 11 A,
