On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to enable the quali-
fied voters of Election District No. 13, in Frederick
county, to determine by ballot whether spirituous or
fermented liquors shall be sold in said district.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add addi-
tional sections to Article 11. of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Frederick County," sub-title,
"Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," to follow section
311, and to be known as "Sections 311 A, 311 B, 311 C,
311 D, 311 E, 311 F, 311 G and 311 H," relating to the
sale of spirituous and fermented liquors and lager
beer in said Frederick county, and imposing penalties
for the violation of said sections.
On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate
the Baltimore City Passenger Railway Company, and
to enable the said company to create capital stock
representing betterments and additions heretofore
made to its property and distribute the same among
stockholders.
On motion of Mr. Cornthwaite,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize,
empower and direct the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore to appropriate a sum of money to pay for
the use of a suitable building to be occupied by the
Veteran Volunteer Firemen's Association of Baltimore
city.
On motion of Mr. Anderson.
Leave was granted to the Somerset County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill authorizing H. F. Lankford,
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Somerset county, to
refund to certain parties certain oyster fines unlaw-
fully paid said Clerk.
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to give the
