ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Laird, it was
Ordered, That until further order, Mr. Canby be
excused from attend ance upon the sittings of the House,
on account of sickness.
LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Sterling,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to repeal sections A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H and
K, of Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Somerset County," sub-title "Oysters," as the
same appear in chapter 269 of the Acts of 1890. and
to repeal and re-enact with amendments, section 172,
of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws, under
the respective title and sub-title aforesaid.
On motion of Mr. Grove, of Cecil,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate
the compensation of the Register of Wills of the State
of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to Article 93, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Testamentary Law," sub-title
"Wills," to follow section 811, and to be known as
"Section 311 A," Act of 1884, stating that none of the
provisions of this Act shall apply to wills made prior
to August 1st, 1884.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit any cor-
poration which under the laws of this State shall act
as surety on any bond, from acting as trustee,
executor, administrator, guardian, committee or
receiver, or in any one or more capacities without
bond or security other than its own obligation, in
every case where bond is required from a natural
person.
