On motion of Mr. Thompson,
Leave was gianted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to fix the charges
by corporations loaning money on mortgages of house-
hold goods and other personal property in Baltimore
city, and to provide remedies for charges of interest
on sums thus loaned which are found to be usurious.
On motion of Mr. Frincke,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the
Governor to appoint six additional Notaries Public
for Baltimore city.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. Grove, of Cecil, introduced House bill entitled
an Act to regulate the compensation of the Register
of Wills of the State of Maryland.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. McSherry introduced House bill entitled an Act
to add an additional section to Article 93, of the Code
of Public General Laws, title "Testamentary Law,"
sub-title "Wills," to follow section 311, and to be
known as "Section 311 A."
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Brashears introduced House bill entitled an Act
to prohibit any corporation which under the laws of
the State shall act as surety on any bond from acting
as trustee, executor, administrator, guardian, commit-
tee or receiver, or in any one or more capacities with-
out bond or security other than its own obligation in
any case where bond is required from a natural per-
son
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on the Judiciary.
BILLS—THIRD READING.
House bill entitled an Act to pay Wm. Flaherty a
sum of money paid by him to the State Treasurer for
license and to pay to Wm. Henry and Mary J. Beecher
$57.00 and to refund to them a proportional part of
money paid by them to the State Treasurer for sea-
son's dredging license.
