1892.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.
Also introduced House bill entitled an Act to repeal
section 128, of Article 23, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws of Maryland, entitled "Corporations," sub-
title ''Insurance Department," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Mr. Collins introduced House bill entitled an Act
to repeal sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and from section 145
to 1 2, both inclusive, of Article 81, Code of Public
General Laws, entitled "Revenue and Taxes," as
amended and to reenact certain sections in lieu
thereof, providing for an annual assessment and list-
ing of property in this State.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
"Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Sams introduced House bill entitled an Act to
authorize cities to issue bonds for the building and
equipping or purchasing of gas or electric light plants,
&c.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Corporations.
Mr. Carter moved to re consider the vote by which
the unfavorable leport on House bill (No. 151), en-
titled "Pleading, Practice and Process," was adopted
be re-considered.
Which motion prevailed.
Mr. Hill then moved to substitute the bill for the
unfavorable report, and make that motion the Order
of the Day for Wednesday, February 17th, at 1 P. M.
Which was decided in the affirmative.
REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES.
Mr. Carter, from the Committee on the Judiciary,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
section 26, of Article 9, Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Attachments."
