PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Hill presented a petition from numerous citi-
zens of Prince George's county, asking for a repeal of
of local law relating to gunning on the marshes of the
Patuxent river.
Which was read, and referred to the Anne Arundel
and Prince George's County Delegations,
Mr. Bowie, of Baltimore city, presented a petition
from 100 citizens of Baltimore city to compel all street
railway companies to provide conductors on all ears.
Which was read, and referred to the Baltimore City
Delegation.
Mr. Wallen presented a petition from Lemuel C.
McGennes and 16 other citizens of Queen Anne's
county, in favor granting a pension to John Blackston,
of said county.
Which was read, and referred to the Queen Anne's
County Delegation.
Mr. Grove, of Cecil, presented a petition from the
Farmers' Alliance, No, 101, of Cecil county, asking
for the passage of an Act to purchase the interest of
the private stockholders in the Maryland Agricultural
College.
Which was read, and referred to the Committee on
Agriculture.
