On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend Article 23,
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland,
title "Corporations," by adding thereto an additional
section to follow section 20, class 7, and to be desig-
nated as section 20 A, class 7 A of said Article, pro-
viding for the formation of corporations for con-
ducting any trading, commercial or mercantile busi-
ness.
Also, by Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 77, of Article 5, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Appeals," sub-
title "Appeals in Criminal Cases."
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 51,
of Article 27, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Destroy-
ing Property Maliciously," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
Also, by Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 37,
of Article 19, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Comptroller," and to re-enact the same with
amendments.
Also, by Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
233, of Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title
"Rape," and chapter 410, of the Acts of Assembly of
1890, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections 97, 98, 99, 100 and 101, of Article 81, of the
