Code of Public General Laws, title "Revenue and
Taxes," sub-title "Tax on Commissions of Execu-
tors and Administrators," so as to abolish the tax
upon Commissions of Executors and Administrators.
Also, by Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add an addi-
tional section to Articls 75, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Pleadings, Practice and Process,"
to be numbered section 7 A..
Also, by Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments sections 3, 111 and 112, of
Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, title "Chancery," sub-title "Non-Resi-
dents."
On motion of Mr. Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter
23, of the Acts passed at the January Session, Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1882, entitled ''An Act to-
designate the holidays to be observed on the accept-
ance and payment of bills of exchange, bank checks,
drafts and promissory notes," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to provide for the pay-
ment of pensions to retired members of the police
force of Baltimore city, out of the fund of money
which comes into the hands of the Police Commis-
sioners of Baltimore city, and also to provide for the
retirement of the members of said force.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum
of money to pay the claim of John C. Boessel, of An-
napolis, for work upon the clocks in the State House
and for keeping them in order during the session of
1890.
