LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize and
empower the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to contract with the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, for the laying of water mains and the
erection and supply of one or more fire plugs, at and
in the vicinity of the villages of Highlandtown and
Canton, in the twelfth district of said county.
On motion of Mr. Gaver,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to sanction the be-
quests contained in the last will and testament of
Daniel Shaff, late of Frederick county, deceased, to
the German Reformed Church of Jefferson, Frederick
county, Md., a body corporate, and to the Council of
the Lutheran Congregation of Saint Paul's, a body
