PETITIONS, MEMORIALS AND OTHER PAPERS.
Mr. Laird presented a petition from the Maryland
Society of the Sons of the American Revolution, ask-
ing for an appropriation to aid in building a monu-
ment in Baltimore in. memory of the Association of
Maryland Freemen.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on
Ways and Means.

On motion of Mr. Joyce, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Frincke be excused from to-day's
session on account of important business.
On motion of Mr. Buckey, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Young be excused on account of
sickness.
On motion of Mr. Hill, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Perrie be excused from non-
attendance on the House on Tuesday January
12th.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Monmonier be excused from
attendance on to-day's session on account of business.
On motion of Mr. Fuld, it was
Ordered, That when the House of Delegates adjourn
to-day it adjourn till 12 M. to-morrow, Jan. 14th, 1892.
