270 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 10,
Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
" Juries," as repealed and re-enacted by chapter 62
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
1890, entitled an Act to repeal and re enact with
amendments section 10, of Article 51, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Juries."
Which were severally read a first time.
Also, favorably, with proposed amendment:
Senate bill entitled an Act to add two additional
sections to Article 27, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, title "Crimes and Punishments,"
sub-title "False Pretenses," designated as section 84
A and section 84 B, relating to frauds and false pre-
tense against hotel keepers.
AMENDMENT PEOPOSED.
Strike out "Section 2."
Which was adopted.
Said bill, as amended, was then read a second time.
Mr. Sellman, from the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably the following order, referred to said
Committee February 4th, viz :
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay to
Adam Miller and William Johnson the sum of forty
dollars each, for cleaning up Rotunda and Hall of
Annex for the month of January.
Which was adopted.
Said order was then passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
