Mr. Thompson submitted the following order, viz :
Ordered, That the State Printer be authorized to
print 2000 copies of the State Fishery Report, instead
of 1000 copies, as per order of February 5th, cost not
to exceed $150.
Which was read and adopted by yeas and nays, as
follows:
AFFIRMATIVE.—Messrs. Speaker, Combs, Garner,
Strong, Wilson, Brashears, Donaldson, Sappington,
of Anne Arundel, Carrico, Maddox, Orrick, Cole,
Elliott, Hamilton, Jr., Schlaffer, Collins, Wooters,

chester, Miles, Kirk, Beeks, Grove, of Cecil, Bowie,
of Prince George's, Hill, Perrie, Bryan, Franklin,
Wilkinson, Hayman, McSherry, Gaver, Grove, of
Frederick, Hayward, Deen, Johnson, Thompson, Fitz-
gerald, Fox, Carter, Bowie, of Baltimore city, Gill,
Sams, Sanders, Frincke, Carr, Cornthwaite, Joyce,
Fockler, Shafer, Barber, Berret, Leeds, Laws, Moore

NEGATIVE.—Messrs. Smith, of Washington, Gar-
rott, Laird, Griffith, Buckey, Young, Hosken, Sr.,
Stottlemyer, Haines, Bittinger, Michaels—11.
Mr. Orrick submitted the following order, viz:
Ordered, That the Speaker appoint a committee of
five to ascertain whether or not certain turnpike com-
panies have not violated theii charters by charging ex-
cessive toll over badly kept roadways, and otherwise,
and report what action is necessary to give relief to
the people of Baltimore and adjoining counties.
Which was adopted.
The Speaker appointed as such Committee, Messrs.
Orrick, Hamilton, Fitzgerald, Fox and Hayward.
On motion of Mr. Gaver, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Sappingten, of Frederick, be ex-
cused from to-day's session, on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Frincke, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Fuld be excused from to-day's
session, on account of sickness in his family.
On motion of Mr. Combs, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Garner be excused from atten-
dance at yesterday's session, on account of sickness.
