be excused from non-attendance on last night's session,
on account of important business.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to incor-
porate the town of Towsontown, in Baltimore county.
On motion of Mr, Gaver,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpor-
ations to introduce a bill entitled an Act supple-
mentary to an Act, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Sisters of Carity of Saint Joseph's, in Frederick
county, passed at the December Session of the General
Assembly of Maryland, in the year 1816, chapter 95.
