On motion of Mr. Carr,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section 17,
of Article 53, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Landlord and Tenant," as repealed and re-
enacted by the Acts of 1884, chapter 310, exempting
certain articles from distress for rent, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Donaldson,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel County
Delegation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to au-
thorize the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
county to survey a public road in the Fourth and
Fifth Election Districts of said county, to construct
the same, to issue bonds for that purpose, if deter-
mined by the legal qualified voters of said districts.
On motion of Mr. Hamilton,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to regulate
the county printing and publishing in Baltimore
county, and to provide for having the same done by
contract.
On motion of Mr. Orrick,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to carry into
effect section 1, of Article 7, of the Constitution of
this State, so far as the same relates to Baltimore
county, and to repeal section 31, of Article 3, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Baltimore County,"
sub-title ''County Commissioners," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments, section 2, of Article 45, of
the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland, title
"Husband and Wife."
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Frederick County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize
the Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the
Peace for Election District No. 5, for Frederick:
county.
