On motion of Mr. Leonard,
Leave was granted to the Talbot County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter
422, of the Acts of the General Assembly, passed
during the session of 1890, relating to the catch-
ing of fish in the waters of Talbot county.
On motion of Mr. Schlaffer,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal
section sixteen, of chapter three hundred and thirty-
four, of the Acts passed at the January Session, eigh-
teen hundred and ninety, an Act to regulate the sale
and the granting of licenses for the sale of spirituous
and fermented liquors in Baltimore county, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Hayward,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act for the relief
of the sureties upon the official bonds of Stevenson
Archer, late Treasurer of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add a new
section to Article fifty-three, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Landlords and Tenants," sub-
title "Distress for Rent," prohibiting the removal,
sale, secretion or destruction of property or effects
liable for rent by the tenant, until the rent be paid or
by and with the written consent of the landlord, to
come in after section eighteen, and be designated as
"Section 18 A."
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Aet to prohibit
pool-selling, book-making or betting in the counties
of Baltimore and Anne Arundel.
On motion of Mr. Carter,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Elections
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-
enact with amendments section 252, of Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"City of Baltimore," sub title "Elections."
