ORDERS.
On motion of Mr. Gaver, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Sappington, of Frederick, be
excused from to-day's session, on account of impor-
tant business.
On motion of Mr. Orrick, it was
Ordered. That Mr. Monmonier be excused from at-
tendance upon to-day's session.
On motion of Mr. Young, it was
Ordered, That Alien Barber be excused from to-
day's session, on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Washington county,
it was
Ordered, That Mr. Garrett be excused from to
day's session, on account of important business.
Mr. Bra shears submitted the following order,
viz:
Ordered, That Augustus Sewell and James N.
Goodwin be paid the sum of two dollars per day each,
for services rendered at heating apparatus in the State
House Annex for the month of January, 1892.
Read and referred to Committee on Claims.
Mr. Hutchins submitted the following order,
viz:
Ordered, That the Committee on Claims pay to
Adam Miller and William Johnson the sum of forty
dollars each, for cleaning up Rotunda and Hall of
of Annex for the month of January.
Read and referred to Committee on Claims.
On motion of Mr. Grove, it was
Ordered, That Mr. Kirk be excused from to day's
session, on account of sickness.

LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. Field,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judi-
ciary to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the
Code of Public General Laws, Article 5, title "Ap-
peals," by adding thereto a section to follow section
3, and to be called "Section 3 A."
