Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, from Select Committee,
reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Dorchester county to borrow money
on the order of the county, for the purpose of repair-
ing the bridge across Cambridge creek, in the town of
Cambridge in said county, to place an iron draw
therein, to their bonds on bills obligatory for the
payment of the same and to levy taxes on the assess-
able property of said county to redeem said bonds or
bills obligatory and to pay the interest thereon.

the General Assembly of Maryland to a devise con-
tained in the last will and testament of Harriet A.
Hayden, deceased.
House bill entitled an Act to empower the County
Commissioners of Washington county to call in cer-
tain bonds of said county and issue other bonds.
House bill entitled an Act granting the sanction of
of the General Assembly of Maryland to the gift and
bequest of Elizabeth C. Lane, of Washington county,
to the Board of Home and Foreign Missions,
House bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Hagerstown and State Line Railroad.
House bill entitled an Act to add an additional sec-
tion to chapter 374, of the Acts of 1890, entitled an
Act to regulate the sale and the granting of licenses
for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in
Baltimore county.
Were severally read a second time and ordered en-
grossed for a third reading.
