On motion of Mr. Carter, it was
Ordered, That Messrs. Field, Fuld, Gallagher and
O'Conor, be excused from attending to-night's
session, on account of important business.
Also,
Ordered, That Mr. Kirk be excused at to-night's
session, on account of sickness.
LEAVES TO INTRODUCE BILLS.
On motion of Mr. McSherry,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Temperance
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
86, of Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled "Licenses," sub title "Penalties," relating
to the sale of liquors to minors, and chapter 804, of
the Acts of Assembly of 1890, and to re-enact the
same with amendments by substituting in lieu thereof
the following sections, 86, 86 A, 86 B and 86 C.
On motion of Mr. Smith, of Washington county,
Leave was granted to the Washington County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add to
Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Washington County," sub-title "Hagerstown," cer-
tain sections to follow section 182, of said Article,
and to be named sections 182 A and 182 B.
On motion of Mr. Brashears,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill entitled an
Act to repeal sections 6 and 10, of Article 72, of the
Code of Public General Laws title "Oysters," sub-
title "Dredging," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
On motion of Mr. Sams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
128, of Article 23, of the Code of Public General
Laws of Maryland, entitled "Corporations,"'sub title
"Insurance Department," and to le-enaot the same
with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Hamilton,
Leave was grantel to the Baltimore County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and
