resolution passed at the January Session, 1892
respectfully report, that in pursuance of said joint
resolution, we did, on this 29th day of January, 1892,
in the office of the Treasurer of Maryland, examine
and count the bonds of the Treasury Relief Loan of
said State (the same having been withdrawn by the
Treasury officers from the Safe Deposit at Baltimore
and brought to said office for the purpose of being
counted, examined and destroyed as required by said
resolution), and that we found said bonds to be num-
bered one to five hundred each inclusive, each for the
sum of one thousand dollars, amoiinting to five hun-
dred thousand dollars, and each bond had attached
to the same the coupons due July 1st, 1892, and
Thereafter, and that said bonds were acquired by the
Treasury officers by redemption under the call of
July 31, 1890, and by purchase prior thereto, and had
been duly stamped and cancelled, and having counted
and examined the said bonds, your committee did, on
said day, burn said bonds and the coupons thereto
attached in the presence oi the Treasurer.

Which was read, adopted, and ordered to be spread
on the Journal.
The Secretary of the Senate appeared and delivered

House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
George T. Melvin to construct abridge over Weems'
creek, in Anne Arundel county.
Endorsed : "Read a third time, and passed by yeas
and nays."
On motion of Mr. Fitzgerald,
The House, at 2 P. M., adjourned.
