House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Elec-
tric Light and Power Company of Baltimore county.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the County Commissioners of Baltimore county to
contract with the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more city for the laying of water-mains and the erec-
tion and supply of one or more fire plugs at and in the
vicinity of the village of Highlandtown, in the 12th
district of Baltimore county.
Also, favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Treas-
urer of Baltimore county to give bond with corpora-
tion security, and to charge the cost thereof among
the expenses of his office.
Mr. Grove, of Cecil, from a Select Committee re-
ported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal from section 243
to section 260, both inclusive, of Article 8 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil County," sub-title
"Warwick."
Which were severally read a first time.
Mr. Bittinger, from a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 73, of
the Acts of 1882, entitled an Act to add additional
sections to the Code of Public Local Laws, Article —,
entitled "Garrett County," enacted by the Act of 1878,
chapter 108, said sections to be sub-titled "Thistles,"
to come in after sub-section 75 in said Act, to be num-
bered "75 A," "75 B," "75 C," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Laird, from a Special Joint Committee, sub-
