nominated on the part of the Senate Hon. Spencer C.
Jones, of Montgomery county, and General Alien
Rutherford, of Montgomery county, and have ap-
pointed as tellers Messrs. Wootton and Wilkinson,
on the part of the Senate, who are to receive the vote
of the Senate, and in connection with the tellers to
be appointed by your Honorable Body, to count the-
same.

We have received your message proposing to pro-
ceed to the election of State Treasurer this day at 1.30
P. M,, and concur therein.
We have nominated on the part of the House of Dele-

the part of the House of Delegates, Messrs. Canby and
Buckey, who are to receive the votes of the House of
Delegates, and in connection with the tellers ap-
pointed by your Honorable Body, to count the same.

The blanks in the message were then filled with the
names of Hon. Spencer C. Jones and Gen. Alien
Rutherford.
The message, as amended, was then read, assented,
to, and sent to the Senate.
