more, East Baltimore and North Point Railroad Com-
pany.

yeas and nays, with proposed amendment:"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Insert at the end of section 6 A of the bill the fol-
lowing :
"Section 6 B. Provided, however, that it shall be
unlawful for said railroad company to build or con-
struct its road on, over or across any street or high-
way in Baltimore city without the consent and ap-
proval of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore
being first had and obtained ; and provided further,
that in the construction of said road in Baltimore
city and the proper repair of the same, and of the
keeping in repair of the same and of the keeping in
repair of the road bed within the limits of the tracks,
the same shall be done by said railroad company under
the supervision and control of the Commissioner of
Streets of Baltimore city."
