REPORT:
The report of the Conference Committee on the
House amendments to Senate Bill, printed, No. 153,
amending the militia law of this State, respectfully
recommend that the House recede from its amend
ment, and that the following words in lines 21 and 22
be stricken from the bill: "Provided that the integ-
rity of said regiment and the Second Battalion shall
not in any way be impaired or destroyed," and that
the following words be inserted in the place of the
above words stricken out: "Provided the integrity of
the Second Battalion shall not be impaired or de-
stroyed, so long as said Battalion shall maintain its
efficiency in numbers and organizations as now re-
quired by law."
