On motion of Hamilton,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County Delega-
tion to introduce a bill entitled an Act to add a new
section to the third Article of the Code of Public
Local Laws, entitled "Baltimore County," to be sub-
titled "Insane Asylum " and to vest in the County
Commissioners of said county additional powers rela-
tive to the care of insane persons.
On motion Mr. Joyce,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corpora-
tions to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend sec-
tion 3, of chapter 485, of the Acts of Assembly, of the
year 1882, (being an Act entitled an Act to incorporate
the Guarantee Loan Company of Maryland,) and to
re enact the same with amendments.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations
to introduce a bill entitled an Act placing corpora-
tions, associations, societies and orders under the
jurisdiction of the Insurance Commissioner.
On motion of Mr. Anderson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and
Means to introduce a bill entitled an Act to appro-
priate a sum of money to pay Noah C. Sterling for
the loss of the schooner Martha E. Freeman.
On motion of Mr. Ellegood,
Leave was granted to the Wicomico County Dele-
gation to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend
the certificate of incorporation of the Salisbury Per-
manent Building and Loan Association of Salisbury,
Wicomico county, Maryland
On motion of Mr. Carr,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to refund to William
Flaharty fifty-four dollars and fifty-seven cents, for
money paid by him into the State Treasury for license
for the schooner L. Mitchell.
On motion of Mr. Haines,
Leave was granted to the Carroll County Delegation
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to prohibit tres-
passing with gun or dog in Carroll county.
