Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. Carter moved to suspend the rules in order to
allow the Committee on Ways and Means to report
said bill, appropriating a certain sum of money to pay
expenses of the present session of the Legislature.
The rules were suspended (two-thirds of all the
members-elect) voting in the affirmative by yeas and
nays, as follows:

NEGATIVE.—None.
Mr. McSherry, acting chairman of the Committee
on Ways and Means, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to meet the additional expenses of the Legis-
lature for the session of 1892.
Which was read a second time, and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. McSherry moved to suspend the rules in order
to put said bill upon its third reading and final pas-
sage.
The rules were suspended, (two thirds of all mem-
