Which motion prevailed.
On motion, the vote by which the Senate amend-
ment was adopted, was reconsidered.
Said bill, on motion, was re-commiited to the Som-
erset County Delegation.
Mr. McSherry moved to suspend the rules, in order
to introduce the following, viz. :
Leave to the Committee on Ways andMeans to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to appropriate a certain
sum of money to meet the expenses of an extra session
of the Senate of Maryland, to confirm certain Execu-
tive appointments.
The rules were suspended (two-thirds of all the
members elect voting in the affirmative) by yeas und
nays, as follows:

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS.
Mr. McSherry introduced,
House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to meet the expenses of an extra session of the
Senate of Maryland to confirm certain appointments.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the
Committee on Ways and Means.
Mr. McSherry moved to suspend the rules, in order
