In section 1, line 4, after the word "beer," insert
the following, "in or."
Also, in section 1, line 9, after the word "beer,"
insert the f oil owing, "in or."

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the mode
of acquisition of property by the Baltimore Forward-
ing and Railroad Company and to authorize said com-
pany to connect its tracks with those of other railroad
companies and to grant it additional powers as a rail-
road company.
Endorsed: "Read the third time, and passed by
yeas and nays, with proposed amendment:"
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out all of section 2 and insert in lieu thereof
the following:
"Sections. And be it further enacted, That the
said company is hereby invested with all the powers,
franchises and privileges now allowed to railroad cor-
porations under the general incorporation laws of the
State of Maryland, and said company is hereby author-
ized to acquire, build and construct stations, yards,
docks, wharves and other terminal facilities for rail-
road use, in either Harford or Baltimore counties or in
Baltimore city, and to locate, build and construct a
